Op art (optical art) developed in the 1960s as an artistic style using geometric shapes to create optical illusions. Inspired by this genre, designer Remedios Simón created Spiro, a charismatic pendant light whose structure is composed of a multitude of irregular wood veneer spirals.

Spiro is available in several versions of outer shells:
